Such fresh and beautiful fruits and veggies! For someone that lives off of freshness and the integrity of a wholesome garden fruit or vegetable, this place is heaven!

A lot of reviews on the prepared food on here. Some of them kind of ridiculous because it's not a restaurant-restaurant, it's a grocery store with prepared food what are you expecting???... Anyways, there's almost no reviews on the grocery store. I LOVE Gelson's. And I particularly love THIS Gelson's. We used to frequent the giant Gelson's in Santa Monica off of Lincoln. Though this one is much smaller, I don't feel like I'm missing anything from the large one. They always have the special produce I'm looking for that I can't find at Whole Foods. They always have that one special ingredient I'm looking for that I need for a recipe. And they ALWAYS! have so many fun brands and items that you will never be able to find at another grocery store. Seriously, browse the cookie isle. Or the chocolate isle. Or the cheese case. Or the ice cream isle. Waygu hot dogs? Yes, please. In addition to the fun "outside" brands, Gelson's has it's own label of foods on their shelves. They started this a handful of years ago, and I'm suprised at how much better it is than a lot of other similar products you can buy. I especially recommend trying their marinara sauces (the Diablo Sauce is so good!!!) and their wine! They've won awards for their more expensive bottles of wine. Always great customer service (ask them anything and they'll go looking for it). Love the mostly empty parking lot. Love Gelson's!

This is a really nice Gelsons on Sepulveda right in Manhattan Beach. This store has a very nice, wide selection of products. I bought premium cheeses, salami, fruits, drinks and snacks(they had the popcorn brand I like)for a total of approx. $125. Prices are higher than the big chains but worth it for the premium product selection. Highly recommended.

I am coming here to discover my lunch options in the hot section. Verdict today: dry, plain and overly lemony roasted lemon garlic chicken today. The blue crab roll was tasty. Will update my perspective on the market as I come more often

I visited the wine bar at Gelson's and had dinner there. There's a sushi chef that makes fresh sushi and delicious entree dishes such as their special of the day Baked King Salmon! Hands down the best Salmon I've ever had. It was so buttery, fresh, and flakey. I also ordered a side of sushi rice. Service was excellent! Jackie was extremely nice, tentative, helpful, and professional. She made the whole experience memorable and delightful. Ambiance is great. Open and lots of natural lighting. The location is clean and the decor is sophisticated. Highly recommend checking out the wine bar and eating there.

10/6/23 Good quality & great selections! This grocery store is also a wonderful place to grab baked goods from Viktor Benês or simply lounge about, have lunch taken from the salad bar &/or get your drink on-go solo to unwind or meet up with friends at the bar (wine & other concoctions). Mainly, I was looking for Viktor Benês to grab a cup of java & maybe a pastry to just chill while waiting meet up with friends nearby. I didn't realize it was located INSIDE Gelson's. If prices do not deter you from shopping here, then it's a nice grocery store to purchase your daily needs. It is one of the more upscale shops for groceries.
